Vision and Values
Waymaker Haven for Children wants to give children the opportunity to grow and develop in a safe, comfortable, and nurturing home-like environment during a family crisis, or when parents are facing personal challenges. To give parents the opportunity to keep the family unit together when extenuating circumstances could cause loss of custody.
To work with the community to find/provide resources for parents to develop coping strategies, parenting skills, communication skills and financial stability. Advocating for their success to become independent and able to provide a safe home for their children.
Holding ourselves accountable with the highest of ethics to provide the best care for children. To ensure that we maintain the trust that the family and community has put in us to keep their children safe, nurtured and provided for.
